Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades. Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations. Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission. Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves technical problems related to network failure/ integrity and usage of PC hardware and software.Job Description:Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and troubleshoot site level network equipment for the purpose of maximizing performance, security, and reliability (e.g. firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, controllers, and vendor appliances).  Understand cloud network architecture.</li><li>Lead teams and site level projects with minimal supervision and guidance.</li><li>Design and troubleshoot enterprise level operational technologies that interact with the manufacturing control systems for the purpose of maximizing performance, security, and reliability.</li><li>Design processes, policies, and procedures supporting internal controls, cybersecurity, and data protection of sensitive data.   Examples include but are not limited to IT General Controls (ITGCs) Managed Access (MA-xx) Managed Operations (MO-xx) and Change Management (CM-xx); Data backup, recovery, and classification; Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM).</li><li>Design and troubleshoot technology infrastructure to mitigate risk and define new controls to ensure mitigation of risk.</li><li>Define site level software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) and related infrastructure.</li><li>Design and troubleshoot network configurations and access control rules of cloud networks (e.g. Microsoft Azure) as well as on-premises and hybrid environments.</li><li>Lead initiatives to improve Intrusion Detection and Prevent Systems (IDS/IPS).</li><li>Work closely with IT site leads at various locations in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. to ensure network and security solutions are operating as expected. </li><li>Understand and comply with established processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts, including Change Control procedures across all modifications to the environment.  Identify to management internal controls deficiencies.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Education:  Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology/Computer Science) or its equivalent in a related field is typically preferred.  Network certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+ are desired. </li><li>Years of experience: 8+ Years of related professional work experience may be preferred to complete all essential job functions.</li><li>Other unique job relevant attributes: Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, including Cisco equipment and Windows servers.  Knowledge about software defined networks (SD-WAN) preferred.  Knowledge about Microsoft’s Azure cloud / M365 environment preferred.  On-call and support outside of business hours may be required.  Safety training may be required.</li></ul>FMLA:<a href="https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/fmlaen.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/fmlaen.pdf</a> Employee Polygraph Protection Act<a href="https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/eppac.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.dol.gov/whd/regs/compliance/posters/eppac.pdf</a> <ul><li>Employees in Canada can learn more about their rights by viewing the <a href="http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/PDF/H-6.pdf" target="_blank">“Canadian Human Rights Act”.</a></li></ul> If you need any assistance seeking a job opportunity at CF Industries, or if you need reasonable accommodation with the application process, please call 847-405-2400 or contact us at talentacquisition@cfindustries.com.<a href="https://cfindustries.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/careers/introduceYourself" target="_blank">JOIN OUR TALENT NETWORK</a>
