We are seeking new and experienced Medical Secretaries to join our extraordinary team! As a Medical Secretary you will: - Answer telephone calls, handle routine inquiries, and refer non-routine matters to appropriate persons. Obtain, complete and follow up on all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains records and ensures documentation is scanned into patient records.
- Schedule patient appointments and tests, coordinating with appropriate personnel as necessary. Schedule return visit appointments as appropriate assuring smooth functioning.
- Assist team with all facets of preparing for patient visits or processing post visit documentation. Assure completion of Consent to Treat, HIPAA and other forms as appropriate.
- Maintain electronic patient charts. Organize and prepare the necessary information, reports, records, charts and correspondence before the patient arrives for appointment.
- Obtain necessary registration information on patients, co-pays, necessary referral forms and authorizations to forward to billing.
